Year 7 Food Tech
Our Year 7 Food Technology students have launched into their exciting cooking focus this term, inspired by the OzHarvest FEAST Program. The initiative teaches students about healthy eating, food waste reduction, and sustainability through hands-on cooking lessons.
In Week 1, students made a variety of colourful dips served with vegetable sticks — a fun and healthy way to kick off the term. This cooking focus also builds on last term’s understanding of food and kitchen safety, giving students more confidence and independence in the kitchen.



Food and Hospitality
The Year 12 Food and Hospitality class have completed their Celebration Cake assessment! After several weeks learning skills with buttercream and fondant, choosing themes and completing trial cakes, they were able to create their own designs.
A big thank you to our resident cake decorator, Miss Lloyd-Smith for taking time to share some of her skills with us - and her special buttercream recipe!
